Default Lame, or not?

How do people know who's lagging a whole team, if there is lag. Is that a good reason to kick someone instantly, without any form of discussion whatsoever? Team leader said I was lagging the game, I was instantly kicked and nobody else protested. Seemed like it was the most normal thing in the world.

How longdid it take you to join the group outside? I'd rezone and boot someone if I had to sit there more than a minute waiting for them to join the party. More info please.

Zoning takes me about 10 to 15 seconds, unless there has been an update. Than sometimes it takes me over one minute, when zoning for the first time. After that I zone like usual. People with slow computers have rights too, you know?
I have the feeling that it was personal. The guy was a runner, and died already three times. I didn't speak much. I was just telling him that we didn't mind that he died a few times. Nobody was in any hurry.
Anyway, I wasn't even the last one in. Some people were slower than me.

10 or 15 seconds is irritating sometimes, but not a good reason to boot someone imo. So, lame is my answer. Hell, I can grab a fresh beer in 15 seconds.

Sounds like he was trying to use you as a scapegoat. Putting the blame for his dying on you, instead of accepting the fact that he sucked as a runner.

He is on my ignore list. Not that I don't want to talk to him anymore, I just don't want to play with him anymore. I didn't need the run anyway. I was there only for fun. Sometimes I'm just curious if somebody is able to do it, and there is only one way to find out from first-hand.
I personally think that it was him lagging the team. I don't think he ever made the run.

Anyway, the question was if he was lame. I think that frendlyness goes a long way. Kicking someone for being slow is lame.

When I was on dial-up I would load slow sometimes. I had to do a reinstall and did an Oro run with my guild. They had almost finished the whole run by the time I had downloaded the entire content. They didn't rezone and kick me. Man I love my guild!

OP ~ Unless there is something you're not telling us that guy was being an ass. You don't lag the whole group. If he is running you somewhere it doesn't matter if it takes you 30 seconds or 2 minutes to load. You're just standing at the zone portal or dying or doing something else while he should be running way way way far ahead of you. Don't take it personally some people aren't very patient. It's always good to weed out impatient or obnoxious players. Putting him on your ignore list was the smartest thing to do.

omg its like the lamest thing to do! kik some1 for a lag! i think he was trying to put blame on you for his bad running. when i run i most of the time ask evryone to die, so no such roblem. Anouther thing is, some people are just lucky to have good PC (if my dad wasnt a pc cientist id have something as old as me for 500$) and i know not evry1 has a pentium 4 with best gfx card and tons of memeory, and besides, logiclly thinking, if u need that run to a place, its likely you dont have the map saved on your pc! So its tataly unacceptable to be kiked for a lag

I vote for lame. If you're lagging, I'm pretty sure you won't "lag the whole game". When were you playing? Yesterday? I didn't lag at all yesterday...

It was the day before yesterday. Today is a very bad day. Spells take ages to cast, and occasionally my computer starts to skip frames.
Still, my loading times are like usual.
